Digital Fusions

Lagune, Digitales Kunstwerk, Christine Bathelt, abstrakte Kunst

I've been exploring digital merging and editing of my artwork lately and I want to share some of the results with you.

It’s interesting to see how two or more artworks can become one stunning entity. And then of course there are the cases where a fusion just looks out of place 😅

Let’s start with two variations that are mainly dominated by turquoise and red:

Straße nach Elysium (Road to Elysium) is a combination of Elysium and Harlekinstraße.

Korallenkosmos (Coral Cosmos) was created by the fusion of Kolibri und Vergangenheitslichtkegel.

The next digital artwork is all my three hummingbirds Bienenelfe, Pfauenelfe and Schmetterlingselfe in one artwork.

As there are three images here, the process was a bit more complex, but eventually it looked good. Finally, I framed the Kolibri-Melange (Hummingbird Melange – btw here in Vienna a Cappuccino is also referred to as a “Melange” 😁) with a white mist. Which version do you like better?

I also tried the circular fog with Lagune (Lagoon), the combination of Kolibri and Drachenschwarm. I personally really like Lagune. I love how Kolibri pops out in the middle of Drachenschwarm!

Finally, I sent my pirates and elves into space 😛🚀

The pirates are buzzing around Zukunftslichtkegel and the elves have made themselves comfortable with the Vergangenheitslichtkegel.

I hope you’re having a wonderful fall season! 🤗

Much love!

Christine
