The artwork ZUKUNFTSLICHTKEGEL shows a planet illuminated by brilliant white light and its smaller neighboring planets. The light uniquely accentuates the perfect spherical shape of the celestial body. Behind it lies the violet-black space with its infinite expanses.
The title of this artwork, the ZUKUNFTSLICHTKEGEL (English: future light cone), is a term from the theory of relativity. It describes a cone of light emanating from a specific event within which all subsequent events in the future lie that can be influenced by the original event.
