The artwork is to be understood as a symbolic representation of the binary star system Alpha Centauri. 

In CENTAURI I placed a particular focus on the balance of light and dark. White and black color clouds appear to orbit each other in perfect balance of forces. This design points to the division of the year on a hypothetical planet in the Alpha Centauri system: in one half of the year, the more distant star can be seen as a second sun during the day. In the other half of the year, the secondary star can be seen as the midnight sun and the nights are filled with a dark blue light.

CENTAURI combines fantasy and observable reality. Dreamy mists envelop an exquisite symphony of forms. The artwork tells of another reality that seems alien to us here on earth but exists parallel to us.
