The MORGENLAND (literally: morning land), the Orient, the land where the sun rises, often seems so strange and distant to us that it could be in another galaxy. I made this idea part of my artwork and created a place in space where a bright white sun rises.

The structure of the motif suggests that life and landscapes as we know them can be found here not only on planets but also on the radiating structures in the middle. Cream and sand-colored textures bring to mind hot deserts and barren areas. In the background we see the starry sky which is a reference to the classic of world literature „Arabian Nights“.
